College Life, Hitting Plateaus and PCOS

To contribute to her weight challenge, she was newly diagnosed with PCOS.

The Solution

  • Limited options as a Vegan
Showing her new resources to use helped her understand her plethora of meal options.
  • With a stressful work schedule, fast food was his go to.
We created his nutrition plan for meals that take minimal prep, easy on the go and also had a list of go to options from restaurant menus.
  • Endeya’s symptoms of PCOS made it a struggle to lose weight.
With a keen knowledge of PCOS the important factors were selecting foods that did not trigger the condition . Because the medications for her PCOS resulted in water retention and bloating, increased water intake was crucial. Added cravings that came with PCOS were sweets, we tailored sweet meals that had less sugars to attack these cravings.
  • Progress not Perfection.

Endeya learned that the key to any journey was “failing forward”. This means that as she takes two steps forward, falling down one—as long as she got right back up—she was still a step ahead. This broke her fear of failing and her search for perfection.
