Eric: Endless Weekend Partying & Destructive Eating Habits

Eric was a typical ’week-end party animal’ that stepped on the scales at 316 pounds.
He approached me with two clear missions: break the paradox from structured weeks to weekend binges (overeating and social drinking) and lose the weight the right way so it could be sustained!
Seventy one pounds down Eric continues to find the balance between living life and optimal health.

Finding Balance Through The Weekends

The destructive habits from college life continued after graduation. Eric knew that he had to find balance.

The transition into the real world with crazy heavy work loads never allowed Eric to make his health a priority.

The Solution

  • Overeating and social eating went hand in hand
We found a balance between release on a Saturday night but not allowing that to consume his whole weekend.
  • With an intense schedule between work and law school eating out was his norm.
We created meals with minimal prep and used hands on guidance when eating out. This enabled him to win outside of a structured plan.
  • Eric’s life didn’t slow down socially. He had more opportunities to return to past habits.

He intentionally worked for change and understood that his journey is far from linear.
