Marki: Struggle with PCOS & Losing Weight

Marki at 213 lbs couldn’t seem to figure out how to control her pre diabetic symptoms as well as her PCOS.
She saw my experience and results with other clients and decided to give it a shot.
33 lbs down, Marki is no longer pre diabetic and she is now well versed in how to avoid her PCOS symptoms!

Changing Lifestyle

For many years from a very young age Marki’s health was formed by her environment. She had compounded health issues and was at a loss with where to go or what to do. She wanted change but had no idea how to go about it.

The Solution

  • Type 2 diabetes and Health Ailments
When it comes to working with Type 1 and type 2 diabetics every meal has to be put together in a sensitive manner because the wrong calculations could be the reason for a diabetic coma. We worked closely to insure what was happening to her blood sugars before and after every meal until we found the perfect balance of carbs.
  • Marki’s Symptoms of PCOS made it a struggle to lose weight.

With a keen knowledge of PCOS the important factors were selecting foods that did not trigger the PCOS. The Medications for her PCOS added to water retention and bloating, so increased water intake was crucial. Added cravings that came with PCOS were sweets, so we had to tailor sweet meals that had less sugars to attack these cravings.

  • Product of her environment

With lack of support or guidance Marki learned heavy in the accountability with the Hands on Guidance. She learned a lot about herself and most importantly that she couldn’t control circumstances but how she reacted was totally within her control. This has led to freedom for Marki!
