· Extreme Dieting
John had already been on a weight loss journey and was down 50lbs. However, John was afraid that he didn’t have sustainable tools and reached out for help.
As we worked together I showed him how to reverse diet out of the extreme dieting patterns and he now maintains his best shape at 180lbs!
Going Extreme
After a heartbreak John decided to lose the weight. He was willing to do anything extreme to prove those in his past wrong. Although that was a good source of fuel at the beginning, he realized that the fuel fizzled out.
His journey became more about self-reflection than the actual weight loss itself.
The Solution
- Extreme dieting.
We changed John’s current plan from extreme to sustainable. The goal was to get him out of extreme deficits. We strategically and slowly with a reverse diet program were able to achieve a healthy and sustainable way of continuing the weight loss.
- Breaking stereotypes of healthy eating.
We worked together on meals that he loved and alternatives to those unhealthy foods that were engrained in him for years.
- Losing the weight for the right reasons.
As we continued to dig deeper, John realized that he had to lose the weight for the right reasons. John wanted to lose weight to prove others wrong. This negative goal created an unhealthy mindset. When John saw how big of an impact this negative mental state was, he began to move forward with less and less attachment to the past.
This action fueled sustainable results!
