· Unhealthy Choices
Ryan was desperate for change. 320 lbs only meant one thing… his blood panels that were showering normally would not remain that way for long if he didn’t take action.
Through the process, Ryan learned so much about his deeper “why” to be healthy and with 96 lbs lost, he continues his journey!
Sweet Tooth and Fear of Weighing Scale
As an extreme athlete, an injury set Ryan back from his goals and his dreams and the weight stacked on quickly.
He was in a spiral of Emotional Eating to fill his void and that accompanied with a desk job was a lethal mix towards poor health.
The Solution
- Ryan had a sweet tooth that was insatiable.
We put together quick ingredient recipes that killed that sweet tooth craving and helped him feel satisfied which led to his adherence.
- Ryan was fearful of the scale
He realized quickly that the scale numbers were not the end all be all so if he saw a number he didn’t like, focusing in on how we were feeling and how his body was changing was important to shift his state of mind.
- Ryan had no idea how to break the habits of emotional eating
e worked together to break the idea that emotional eating would ever bring back his inner athlete. The more emotional eating, the farther he would be from being active.
This fueled change in his reactions to when life wouldn’t go his way.
