Shane at 260 lbs old approached me because he wanted to lose the weight and take control of his health.
Working in the Oil field Shanes travels and extreme work weeks only added to his weight issues.
 
Today Shane is down 40+ lbs and he now knows how to win with his choices on the road, and also how to bounce back when past habits of over eating creep up.

Self Neglect and Hectic Work Days

For many Years Shane neglected his health. It was always the last priority as he was focused in on building his career. It’s common with work loads being heavy and travel weeks on end, self neglect can be easy to do. This self neglect continued to worsen Shanes health and hold him back from truly experiencing the freedoms Optimal Health brings.

The Solution

  • No time to eat with heavy schedules. We created a structure that worked best for his schedules so that he would not under eat through the day leading to a possible Binge later on.
  • Life on the Road made eating out a constant which typically led to poor choices for Shane. Throughout the process we worked hands on with menus, gas stations and grocery stores no matter where He was. Seeing that he could win with his choices and lose weight on the road only enhanced his journey and will allow him to sustain this weightloss as he continues to build his career.
  • Over-eating Under-eating cycle. Shane had to learn transparency. If he had a day that he over ate, learning to communicate and also get right back into the plan instead of underrating the following days was important. (That under Eating the next days typically leads to over eating again, creating a vicious cycle).
